Cielo Vista Development - Buena Vista, Colorado

Today's Mt. Princeton photo was taken in the new Cielo Vista development area west of Buena Vista. I really like this particular area for its mature pinions and shurb-like trees. That will no doubt block some of the strong winds that frequently come off the mountains and yet one still has views of those amazing peaks.

Last night I photographed the sunset at Cottonwood Pass. I also recently met the great-great-great-great granduncle of the founder of Hartsel, Colorado in Park County. We have been corresponding of late and I just included him on my altitude snob list. ;)
