Mt. Princeton With Clear Blue Skies
It was Sunday morning and with bright blue skies, I took this picture at the junction of Chaffee
County Road 327 and Rodeo Road, pretty close to the Frontier Ranch Conference Center entrance.
If we continue to have days like these in the 50's and 60's, hopefully
all of that snow on Mt. Princeton rocky hillsides will melt quickly. I'm ready for summer to arrive.
Also, from a photographic standpoint, it can be a little difficult
to capture the detail of a mountain when it is covered in white,
especially when there are bright blue skies contrasting so harshly
with it. Another reason why I welcome summer to come full force to Colorado's high country ... ;) -Steve (April 9, 2006)
