Mountain Sunrise - September 20, 2008

I snapped this photo early this morning as we began out hike at Cottonwood Pass. We walked approximately five or six miles south on the Continental Divide to Mt. Kreutzer, altitude 13,095 feet. There is something special about watching the sunrise, am I right? My only photo collection of a sunrise happened in December 2007: Buena Vista, CO sunrise.

The pointed peak left of center is Turner Peak and Mt. Princeton is large mountain farther back right of center.
