The Skiers And Snowboarders Must Be Excited
It has been a wonderfully busy weekend for me. On Friday night, local Buena Vista friends hosted a lively pizza party with about ten small and energetic kids all excited about the snowfall that night. On Saturday, Scott in Colorado Springs visited, in which we spent the afternoon in Vail and the following morning (today) at Cottonwood Pass, Cottonwood Lake and the Evergreen Cafe. Then, as if I hadn't done enough, Kent and Chris in Buena Vista took me in their truck to the old ghost town of Hancock. I have loads of pictures to go through!
I snapped this photo of Mt. Princeton with a fresh layer of snow yesterday morning while standing near the old Maxwell Park schoolhouse. The ski resort towns are probably excited about the early snow! ;)
