In Search Of Wildlife
I did a lot of driving on Saturday, and in the afternoon, I drove on roads northwest of Buena Vista in search of elk to photograph. I couldn't find any elk, but while driving on Chaffee County Road 369, I snapped this pretty shot of Mt. Princeton. A few weeks ago, my friend Jennifer told me about the large numbers of elk that regard this vicinity as home, and so I have been coming to this area now and then with the camera. At present, I still haven't had a major photography adventure of the elk, but here are some past wildlife-related pages: Bighorn Sheep, Elk at Yellowstone National Park, Pictures of Deer #1 and Pictures of Deer #2 -Steve (April 16, 2007) |
