All Day Drive Across Eastern Colorado

I spent all day yesterday on a roadtrip to visit Mt. Sunflower, the Kansas High Point. It was 265 miles one way to reach Kansas' highest natural point, located in Wallace County in far western Kansas. (The Colorado/Kansas border is less than a mile away.)

As I was traveled toward Trout Creek Pass to pick up my friends Kyle and Lindsey in Hartsel, I briefly pulled over to capture the photo above. Not a bad looking picture of Mt. Princeton if you ask me! ;)
