The View From My Church - Buena Vista, Colorado We are finally enjoying highs in the 50's on a regular basis in Buena Vista, Colorado. Ahhhh, it feels like spring is in the air! Today's Mt. Princeton photo was taken near the edge of my church's parking lot. A friend in Woodland Park recently asked me about hikes in this area that might not be well-known by visitors. I gave him three suggestions: Midland Hill (east of Buena Vista), Poplar Gulch (near St. Elmo) and a 13er like Turner Peak. I also have a list of hikes and mountains that might be helpful to him and others. Lastly, I make no promises, but I anticipate finishing my Day 1 page about my Chaffee County walk this evening.
