Orange Cottonwoods And Mt. Princeton

Yesterday morning I captured this photo while pulled over on Highway 24 just south of Buena Vista. I thought the orange cottonwoods in the foreground made for a great picture.

I spent today with my buddy Ron, who lives in Colorado Springs and visited me overnight. We had breakfast at the Evergreen Cafe (at 6:40 a.m!), viewed the fall foliage and encountered snow along Cottonwood Pass Road, then made another drive to Vicksburg and Winfield, followed by a meal at the Coyote Cantina. It was a full day with a very good friend!
