Mt. Princeton - Sunny Colorado Morning
Yesterday morning I climbed to the summit of Mt. Sneffels, a "14er" in the San Juan Mountains in southwest Colorado. The peak is located in the large range that can be seen between Ridgway and Placerville along State Highway 62. Friends and I camped near Ouray (the Atlas Mill Campground) before reaching the trailhead inside scenic Yankee Boy Basin at 6:15 a.m. It was quite an adventure! Today's Mt. Princeton photo was taken this morning somewhere just off of Chaffee County Road 321. I apologize for the six-day period of inactivity, but c'mon now, I plead that it's summer time in Colorado and I'm busy! ;) -Steve (August 21, 2007)
