The View From Nathrop, Colorado
Yesterday I spent the afternoon inside Chalk Creek Canyon to photograph some of the amazing fall foliage happening, and I reached all the way to St. Elmo. I did, however, stop by the very small town of Nathrop located at just north of the intersection of State Highway 285 and Chaffee County Road 162. This Mt. Princeton photo was taken at the western edge of the Nathrop Post Office property. It is quite a view, isn't it? :) -Steve (September 13, 2006) |
