A Scenic Drive North Of Buena Vista
I discovered a scenic drive not too far from Buena Vista. From East Main Street, go north on Colorado Avenue for a few miles. The road winds through numerous rock formations and runs along the Arkansas River. It will turn into a dirt road that goes through old railroad tunnels and leads to the "Railroad Bridge" entry point for rafters on the Arkansas River. At one point, there was a clearing in which I snapped the above photo of Mt. Princeton.
Not much is happening for me right now. This is the first weekend in quite awhile in which I don't have major plans. There's a possibility I might hang out with a Colorado Springs friend who will be staying in Breckenridge over the weekend, or I just might spend a day in Aspen. I really need to do some serious photography of that town!
