Pink And Purple Over Mt. Princeton

I pulled over on Chaffee County Road 327 (off of Rodeo Road) to photograph the sunset, but it was largely a dud ... or so I thought! Upon driving towards my home, I captured all this crazy pink and purple action going on up there. Amazing! It goes to show me that I should never give up on a sunset until it is truly over.

I did capture a really nice and interesting sunset at Cottonwood Pass this week. I also hiked to the summit of Turner Peak this morning, but the tenative plan is to brag about that adventure in the near future. ;)
