Quite A Rainstorm In Buena Vista
There was quite a rainstorm yesterday afternoon in Buena Vista, which even created some flash flooding in some parts of town. Right in the thick of the storm, I drove west on Chaffee County Road 306 enroute to Cottonwood Pass. I figured with the significant amount of rainfall and cool temperatures, the precipitation up in the high country might actually be snow. Sadly, I did not observe it snowing anywhere up there, but I had reason to believe it may have because it snowed last year on July 5, 2006! ;) A friend in Colorado Springs will be arriving shortly and we'll be either going to Jan's Restaurant or the Coyote Cantina for dinner. Have a great weekend, my friends! -Steve (July 6, 2007)
