The Scenic Mountain Views Of Chaffee County, Colorado
Today is my first full day back in Buena Vista, CO after being out of town for eight days. Today we've received about six inches of snow and it's still coming down. Mt. Princeton and the Sawatch Range have been hidden behind thick gray clouds. Hopefully tomorrow I'll capture a good up-to-date photo of the mountain.
Because of this, I thought the photo above, which was taken about ten days ago, would be appropriate. Earlier this month, I sold my 1964 Cadillac to a couple in Ohio. They visited and drove the Cadillac to western Nebraska, where it was then shipped to their home.
The new owner, in his excitement about owning a new classic car and being in our beautiful Rocky Mountains, sent me a number of photos. I thought this one was the very best, with Mt. Antero (left) and Mt. Princeton (right) looking handsome behind. As you probably know if you've ever visited, the scenic drive from Trout Creek Pass to Johnson Village is a great one. :)
